Introduction (Aims and goals)
The Author attempts to change the views and values held for thousands of years. He fully understands that this cannot be done overnight and he is working towards a gradual change of perception. This would take an understanding of the systems we created so far, which will slowly come to a grinding to a full stop, leaving no resources left, for future generations and destroy our precious environment, in the process. Just because of our greed and stupidity. As well, it is necessary to understand, what should evolve, from here on in and of how to implement such revolutionary new ideas and systems, to bring about a new social system, as outlined by the Venus project, for the good of all, not just for the elite.
The Author must asks the question “Are we SMART (Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Realistic and Timely) and implement CREAM (Creative, Reflective, Effective, Active and Motivated) strategies, or are we only interested in the greedy and reckless behaviour, we all got so used to, producing only large profits for the elite?”.
Planet Earth = (degrading and inconsequential rock in the Universe)
What was working for the last few millenniums will not work in the future anymore. Our planet has over 6 billion people living on it now, using up more resources, at a rate never see before, in history. The pollution we create, reached so far unbelievable high levels and is not sustainable, at the going rate.
Fact is that we have not found any other planets yet, where we may perhaps be able to escape. Therefore, logic suggests that there is a need, to get organized, and start thinking and working towards a sustainable future. Not just for us, but for many generation to follow. After all, it is not the fault of our children that, we stuffed up, here and now. What will future generation think about our reckless doing then?
